Once payment is made, the on-boarding process begins right away. However, we cannot do any work without your written permission (you will need to agree to the terms, etc.) and provide us a set of credentials for WordPress and your hosting control panel. Yes. If no optimization plugin has been installed, we will provide WP Rocket via our unlimited license. While a plugin is a great start towards improved performance, there are many more actions that are not easily automated so we do most of our work by hand.

How do I know you did anything?

We use various tools like Google Page Speed, Pingdom, and others to test performance multiple times at different intervals before we start and then again after our work is done. We then calculate the averages and the net difference in load times via the different tools. You will get an overall average improvement percentage score that represents the amount of increased performance for your site.

Where are you located and who is doing the work?

Our headquarters is in the upper Mid-west of the United States with our primary development team in India. Financial transactions are in $USD and are handled via Stripe Payments.

I don’t get how this works. Will there be any downtime?

We will take a backup of your entire website and database. We will then load the website into our staging area or one you provide (Many hosts offer this feature) where we will work on all the optimizations. Once the team has completed their work the staging site will replace the production site. This process will result in a few minutes of downtime at most. Best of all, it provides a full roll-back if anything goes wrong or you are unsatisfied with the work.

Do you mess with my design or layout?

No. The design, images, layout, CSS rules and content will not be changed. We are happy to quote web design work but that would be a separate engagement, process, and payment.
